Do you feel called to lead? Are you currently serving in a leadership role in your church and want to feel more equipped? Do you wonder about the ways God is calling you to serve Him in this season?

You are not alone. We understand how hard being a leader in any capacity can be. We want to come alongside you, to help further equip you to lead and to help you gain clarity on your God-given purpose and calling.

The next Women’s Cohort group will meet beginning September 24, 2024. The cohort will take place during the day, and a time will be determined once the group is assembled.

What is the Women’s Leadership Cohort?

Join us for a 5-week women’s ministry leadership cohort as you seek to grow in your leadership skills, gain clarity on your purpose, and learn ways you can be on mission with God right where you are.

The cohort will meet virtually through Zoom for one hour once a week. Space is limited to allow leaders to connect and network together in a closer format. All sessions are recorded for leaders to download and rewatch. If you cannot be on the meeting live with us, you will have access to watch the weekly recordings.

Each week will focus on a deeper look at leadership topics like discovering your purpose, characteristics of strong leaders, preventing leader burnout, and more.

• Bonus video teachings and resources
• One-on-one coaching session with Amanda to gain clarity on your ministry or your next right steps

• Week 3- Finding Your “Why” and Your “Who”
• Week 4- Life Balance for Leaders: Preventing Burnout and Preserving Your Passion

Who is the cohort for?

The Women’s Leadership Cohort is designed for all women in leadership, and for women who:

• want more clarity on your purpose and calling
• feel God is calling you to lead but you are unsure of the direction you should take
• desire to know more about your strengths, spiritual gifts, and leadership skills
• want to connect with other women who share similar passions
• want to feel better equipped in your leadership role

Meet Your Cohort Facilitator: Amanda Martinsen serves as the Leadership Development Consultant for WMU NC. Amanda is a writer, speaker, certified biblical life coach, and co-host of the Beyond the Moment podcast. She is a former social worker turned ministry consultant with a love for missions and equipping leaders for Kingdom service. She and her husband Brian have three daughters and live in Sanford.
